the wcr members were given an inspiring memorization presentation by Chuck Douglas of Freedom Training.
Chuck’s success was based on strategies he began to develop during his Junior Olympic competition and while at Georgia State University to attain his Summa Cum Laude 4.0 average in Corporate Business Strategy, and Finance & Accounting. Realizing these techniques could be duplicated through training, Thorn EMI promoted him to Senior Corporate Trainer. Your profession demands that you remember a tremendous amount of information. A simple memory lapse can result in a lost opportunity and/or lost credibility. Whether you need help remembering names, lists, key business information, or entire presentations, memory training will give you the edge you are looking for.
We all had a good time and laughed ! It was amazing what we don’t remember. Everyone learned a few techniques that will give us effectiveness while reducing stress, and most importantly, increase sales.
Also thanks to Jeannine Kingston and Donna Canary of Cimarron Escrow for our wonderful Valentine Day table decorations and Valentines. They also donated two lovely vases. One was raffled and the other will be used to put in flowers, of our guests. When they become members we take out the guest flower and put in the member flower.
Denise Gilani of American Home Shield Warranty donated the 2 gift card giveaways. She was missed at the meeting. Denise was at her home office learning more information to bring to us on the warranty program.
We look forward to seeing everyone on March 10,2010 at 11:30 a.m. at the Grumpy Golfer Greentree Golf Course . Topic will be Short Sales with Cimarron Escrow , Tezra Rogers, Linda West from First American and Deb Perry from Stewart Title.
Ann McDonald of AMC Realty will give us an update of what changes will occur on the state contracts.
